The american dream. A 6000 sq ft McMansion, 2 or 3 or more really awesome cars. A boat or other neat must have toys. The best, newest, biggest plazmatic, HD, LED, widescreen TV, Cable TV, Satalite, internet, a pool, a lawn tractor, storage for the other stuff we gotta have...bigger, better, newer....for ever and ever and ever.
God bless our troops. Christian leaders making public statements of support for our troops. God and country. The american flag being displayed inside of church buildings. Military symbols or videos being shown in churches. Statements to the effect that it is our Christian duty to support a certain candidate or war or cause or political movement or to fight some kind of culture war. Statements that we are supposed to fight some kind of battle against certain 'kinds of people. The 'bad' people whoever and however they happen to be labled...this time.
The absolute bleeding, wounded, blinded state of mainstream christianity as they have bought into the culture of business and worldly value systems until they will think I'm attacking Christianity by writing the truth here.
The isolation. The barrenness of some mega churches and even smaller churches as they provide spectacle while peoples hearts shrivel from lonliness as they hope against hope to have human contact and friendships each time they move through the crowd to their seat.
The government who preaches to us that in times of crisis it's very important that we KEEP SPENDING dollars to 'help the economy'....
Kill them before they can kill us. Pre-emptive military strikes to keep America safe. Fighting for our freedom 10,000 miles from home.
These are a few of the topics we will discuss and reason together about.
Understand that I deeply respect the individuals in ANY military who serve out of love and are willing to even sacrafice their own life to protect those they love.
Understand that even those Christians who have been decieved and fight to uphold the values of a fallen world and corrupt politics...even them I see as Children of my Creator.
Understand that to not pray for our 'enemies' is to disobey the Creator...it is not a heroic thing to pray only for your side.
Understand that we are slaves and I think this is what I will talk about on our next post. A vast and almost completely invisable conspiracy of ignorance and willful lies all in the name of thier god-GREED.
